Enchanted (2007)
The Paterno is the exterior of Robert Philip’s (Patrick Dempsey) apartment building. After the incident at the Italian restaurant, a reporter interviews the main characters, and at the end of the scene she actually says that she’s reporting from 116th and Broadway. While Gisele is singing on the balcony, even though the balcony is a set, the background is accurate – that’s a Columbia University campus entrance back there. (Also appearing in the movie is the Times Square McDonald’s and Cohan statue, Columbus Circle and the nearby Maine Monument statue, and actor John Rothman [GB1 Head Librarian] as Carl.)
